Hastings Cookery Demonstration with Warrick Dodds & Leigh Myers

Our resident head chef Warrick Dodds is always being asked to give up some of his culinary secrets but understandably he guards them with his life.

For one day only, however, he and acclaimed chef Leigh Myers (Grosvenor Pulford) have been persuaded to tell all at a fantastic one off cookery demonstration.

On Wednesday 6th October, the event will start with coffee and biscuits at 10am, followed by each of the maestros demonstrating their skills by cooking courses in turn, after which guests will be able to enjoy their wares with a special luncheon included.

Tickets cost just £35 per person.

The Solaris Centre has a selection of meeting rooms which local businesses and community groups are able to use at reasonable rates, delegate capacities from 4 to 75. There is a café on site

Our meeting/conference room prices include projector, screen, PC and DVD player, flipchart stand, pad and pens in our larger rooms and 42” LCD screen with PC and DVD player plus stationery in the smaller rooms. Rates start from £80 to £245 dependent on room.

Reception staff are always on hand to help with any enquiries or photocopying.

We are able to accommodate meetings from 07:00 until 21.00 Monday – Friday. Saturday & Sunday we are open for meetings between 09.00 and 17.00.

visitBlackpool, Real Radio and Smooth Radio, today revealed that singing sensation Alesha Dixon will perform as part of the “Big Switch-On Weekend” of events to launch this year’s world-famous Blackpool Illuminations.

This news comes as excitement builds towards the big announcement, which will be made on Real Radio on Monday morning (26 July 2010) just after 8am. Listeners can tune in to hear the identity of who will switch on the 2010 Blackpool Illuminations.

The “Big Switch-On Weekend,” on Friday 3, Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 September, sees one of the nation’s favourite commercial radio station networks broadcast a series of live shows introduced by some of their best-loved presenters, as Blackpool plays host to an exciting programme of special events.
